Online access does not mean automatic prescribing. It means a licensed clinician may be able to review information remotely, follow the rules in the patient's state, and decide whether a prescription is appropriate.
What happens before a prescription
A clinician reviews safety factors and may ask for more information, lab work, an in-person visit, or a higher level of care. A prescription, if appropriate in the future, would require that review.
